The SPH Medical Epidural Positioning Device improves Nursing and Patient Safety. Historically hospital staff are holding patients in position during epidural and spinal block placements. The EPD reduces risk of injury to staff and improves patient comfort by providing the ideal support and proper positioning. The EPD is also used for Thoracentesis.
