Molly Conner has over 20 years combined experience in the patient handling world. She has worked at the bedside as a nursing assistant and for patient lift, patient sling and patient hygiene companies. Through this experience she has kept her pulse on the industry and the actions that have been taken to improve quality of care for the patient and safe working environments for the caregiver. In 2009 she had the opportunity to join forces with the Massachusetts Nurses Association and the Coalition for Healthcare Worker and Patient Safety in an effort to lobby for a National Safe Patient Handling (SPH) law. Involvement in opportunities like these coupled with the individual companies she has worked for and many years’ experience at the bedside give her a well rounded SPH experience.
